WELLNESS VISION

Start your stay off at ROAM with vision and INTENTION. Creating a wellness vision is a way to get clear on what you want through the incorporation of intention and clarity. Before you do deep self-work on the mat, take time to ground down and focus. Work with one of our wellness coaches in sculpting a unique vision to bring balance and clarity to all aspects of your life. Creation of a wellness vision is included in all wellness packages, individual retreats, and as an add-on service.

HOLISTIC YOGA AND WELLNESS PROGRAM DESIGN

We all want to live our best life. We all want to feel happy & whole while working towards our dreams. This program is designed to improve your health and wellness through transformation and healing. The program will help you work toward a more balanced, positive, and healthier life based on your own unique constitution. Our philosophy is informed by the five koshas or five levels of human existence. We look at an individual on a multi-faceted plane. In doing so, our assessment incorporates work with Ayurveda, traditional anatomical study, meditation, yoga, breath work, and nutrition. You will leave ROAM with your own unique program designed to achieve vibrant health and wellbeing.


PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES

Private yoga classes are a way to arrive directly into a deep study of the self. Work with a ROAM instructor to assess overall health and wellness while crafting classes to suit your unique daily needs. This is a great space to ask questions and go deeper into your practice; whether you are brand new to yoga or a life-long practitioner. We offer classes for improved alignment, fitness, strength building, relaxation, the wisdom years population, yoga for athletes, pranayama and meditation.

YOGA NIDRA

Yoga Nidra or Deep Relaxation is a comprehensive method for maximizing health and well being. Often referred to as “yogic sleep,” it is a form of guided meditation and body awareness. On a deeper level, yoga nidra is a profoundly spiritual practice and a thorough way to positively reshape the unconscious; promoting ease on all levels of one’s being. Yoga Nidra is designed for relaxation. Unlike other sitting meditation techniques, the practitioner rests on his or her back. There she is guided into various techniques that allow her to arrive at a state of complete effortlessness and awaken her potential for greatness.

 

AROMATHERAPY

Essential oils are compounds extracted from plants.The oils capture the plant's scent and flavor, or "essence." Unique aromatic compounds give each essential oil its characteristic essence. Oils can be used in varying ways to bring balance and wellness to one’s life. Use of essential oils can be part of a healthy life-style and self-care program. This one more way to connect your deep inner wisdom with that of Mother Earth. Lets co-create a way to find a deeper connection with the natural world.

PERSONALIZED MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS

Meditation is a practice that can help you overcome subconscious hurdles and align to your higher self. While the untrained mind is susceptible to succumb to the pressures of society and social conditioning, mediation is a tool to get beyond the surface level buzz of modern life and dive deep into the silence of the soul. Your meditation classes will provide guidance through structure and insight. Together we will work to choose the most appropriate techniques and tools that suit your individual constitution and lifestyle. We draw on personal experience with insight meditation, mindful awareness, mantra, japa, and svadyiaya or self-study. If you have experienced stress, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, trouble sleeping, or just sense there is more to life, this is a practice for you. Mediation isa quiet revolution that we can all access. Mediation helps improve listening and enables us to access the subtle art of “the pause,” before we speak. Truly, it is an essential tool in the journey to the self.
